Even at mild levels, dehydration can result in tying up, longer recovery times, fatigue and muscle problems and if low level dehydration becomes chronic, horses will 'blow' hard even under light exercise.

Vitamite Re-Lyte mineral salts formulation mimics the natural balance of electrolytes found in horses' sweat, permitting replacement in the right ratio and allowing the horse to regulate water intake and body fluid level.

Unlike many electrolyte formulations Re-Lyte helps to restore levels of Thiamin and Riboflavin, important B Group Vitamins which are lost in sweat and which aid in energy production, nerve function, oxygen transport and appetite. Electrolytes cannot be stored in the body so ReLyte has been formulated for daily use in feed or via oral syringe.
