| Roughage (hay, chaff, pasture etc) should be fed at 1-1½% of bodyweight. Amounts above are a guide. Total daily feed (concentrate + roughage) should be 2-3% of bodyweight depending on age, workload & climate. *Oaten or wheaten chaff or hay or pasture. Refer to the exercise calculator to determine classification of workload. The feeding guides are for temperate climates. In humid climates increase the amount of Gumnuts®. As a guide a Mitavite Dipper holds approximatley 900 grams of Gumnuts®. |
