Steam-extrusion processing greatly increases nutrient availability and field trials have consistently shown that weight of feed necessary to meet nutrient requirements can be reduced. This means that 4kg of either grains, pellets or muesli-style sweet-feed can be replaced with as little as 3kg of Gumnuts.

The table is a guide only and the amount selected will vary according to age, work load, bodyweight, temperament and the quality of available hay, chaff and/or pasture.

Mitavite Gumnuts is highly digestible and if weight gain is desired, extruded feeds are safer than raw grains, pellets or sweet-feeds. Always feed the amount needed to achieve and maintain body weight and condition.
