EXPORT PROFILE
Mitavite, from our
manufacturing base in Somersby NSW, is supplied to
over 20 countries. The largest single market is our
neighbour New Zealand , where our distribution and
marketing is run by
Inghams Enterprises. Sales in New Zealand have grown rapidly
over the past few years to a point where Mitavite
is now a major player in the Sport/Leisure and Racing
markets.
In earlier years, the acceptance of
Mitavite was aided in the Thoroughbred and Trotting
industries by the ability of trainers to source the
same product on both sides of the Tasman. Now it is
well proven and forms the basis of feeding programs
in many top stables in both codes.

Playing a key role
in the development and servicing of our
export markets is our Somersby based Export
Administrator – Narelle
Cassin. Narelle has been with Mitavite in
this role for over 12 years and has an extensive
knowledge of the requirements of each market.
Narelle loves her job and has developed many
very close friendships with customers over
the years. Customer service is a critical
part of the export portfolio and Narelle
prides herself in going the extra mile. Our
export markets are serviced by Narelle at
our Somersby factory.
With
many trans-continent operations in the
horse industry throughout Australian and
beyond, Mitavite sees that the support
provided by our partners in other countries
can only strengthen resources available
to horse owners. No matter where they travel
there is a big chance their horses can still
be fed a balanced and nutritious diet of
Mitavite – just as if they were at
home. |

MITAVITE ASIA
Mitavite Asia which is headed by Queenslander
Rod Shepherd and his business partner Mimi Lew assist
our Somersby head office with the service of markets
in South East Asia, Middle East and Europe.
Rod and
Mimi are supported in their efforts by a dedicated
team of sales and administration staff at Mitavite
Asia and have become a substantial force with high
regard in UAE, South East Asia and surrounds. Following
recent year’s successes,
Mitavite Asia continues to expand and now also assist
with the service and support of outlets in India
and the Middle East.
